Who Am I?

The artist behind the art, AK. I started my barber journey during the dark times of Covid-19 in 2021. From messing around and cutting my mate’s hair we were once again put into lockdown and that’s when I picked the clippers up and properly went to work on myself. My first self-cut was a really proud moment and I really enjoyed what I was doing and began to cut my friends and family AKA my test subjects. These people really went through the countless hours it took for me to figure out what I was doing and I will love them forever for their sacrifice. Present day I am running AkTrimz out of my garage chasing my passion meeting great people every day and having conversations that will stick with me forever. Barbering is one of the most rewarding careers in my opinion, having the ability to do a service for someone and put a smile on their face is a blessing. Being able to be someone people can talk to, have a laugh with, whilst making them look sexy asf!. I truly love what I do and would never stop the barber life.
